REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO SECURE CONFIRMATION OF A PERFORMANCE BY THE TEJAS
DISTRICT COLORGUARD
1.
estimate of attendance of the performance. Attendance should warrant the
Color Guard coming to perform. Please give specific information about the size
of the area where the scouts will perform.
2.
Promote the Color Guards performance through in-house
publicity if it is private, and/or newspaper, TV, radio, posters if it is going to be open to the public.
3.
Proper technical equipment, lights, electrical outlets,
microphones (sound system sufficient for audience).
4.
Provide an area large enough for the Color Guard to
perform with heat or air, depending on the season.
5.
Assurance that conflicts (for example) serving of
food, activities of registering, noise, etc.) will not interfere with the performance.
6.
Proper introduction.
The Color Guard will supply adequate materials to you for the needs of the programs, upon request.
7.
A place for the Color Guard to arrive and assemble,
organize and put on gear.
8.
Provide someone to greet the Color Guard upon arrival
and cue them when it is time for the performance. Please indicate the person’s
name.
9.
That the agreed time of the performance be kept as
scheduled, due to the Color Guard being young and coming from many cities.
FEE
SCHEDULE
1.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZTIONS – are asked to help with the cost of the performance. If you have no funds available, but feel your occasion or situation merits special consideration, then
please advise the Director. We may have financial sponsors or grants available
to underwrite the cost of the performance. The Tejas District Color Guard cares
about the community and will review each request carefully.
2.
PERFORMANCE FEE: a minimum contribution depending on the distance, length of program, desirability of special
program, etc. is appreciated.
3.
TRANSPORTATION: In addition to performance fee, if we come by bus it is 50cents per mile to and from the
Color Guards Headquarters and the cost of the driver, if one must be hired.
4. COMMERCIAL FEE SCHEDULE:
In town with performance consisting of:

And 6 FLAGS $50.00
COMPLETE GUARD
$100.00
The fee schedule is for performance
only – this does not include transportation, meals and lodging if applicable.
Out of town rate are negotiated upon request.
